This is the best chicken I have ever tried! This chicken tastes good even when it is cold! The flavor and batter are out of this world! This chicken is delicious! If I could give it 6 stars, I would.

We are huge fans of fried chicken sandwiches, and I have to say Box's chicken sandwich is a solid win. Nicely sauced, good crunch, and a solid amount of chicken. It's also pretty nice that the area across the street is a community park, and a nice place to sit down and enjoy food. A nice place for a late night snack (which is rare to find in SF!)

I've been coming here for the past 10years...yes, I'm not kidding at all. TempestBarSf/Box Kitchen has been my go-to place forever. Amazing vibes, amazing people, AMAAAAAZING FOOD!!! Pre-covid I used to come here EVERYDAY for the drinks AND the food. Not only that....the ENTIRE staff inside the bar and kitchen are beyond words. They make you feel at home and they always take care of you. If you show up make sure to say hi to Justin (the one with the beard), Malori, Cara and jason. Honestly, this place is so worth it.

What an incredible spot! You simply walk up to the window to order, and if you fancy, you can enjoy your meal at the adjacent bar. The service is incredibly friendly, and the food consistently delivers freshness and top-notch preparation. Whenever I find myself in San Francisco, this is a must-stop for me. Let's continue supporting this gem!

Located in front of my school. Box kitchen and the box burger is something you reeeally need to try if you are in the city. They are located right next to the tempest bar but you can order food from the bar as well. The service is pretty quick and the menu does seem to change here and there. It's usually best to just order for togo and go home to eat because the area is a bit sketch.

I have been going here for a quick bite and some beer. The burgers are amazing and garlic fries. The vibes are dive and the kitchen it attached to the bar and you can order from the window or at the bar. It's a great place to get greasy food when other places near by are closed. This place is open late for those late nights.

The service was great, We walked two miles to get there and it was so worth it!! The two miles back were OK since we had our bellies full with this GOOD food, we were ready for a nap lol. We also ordered some tacos and a salad. Loved the fact that we had a buzzer and were able to comfortably sit across the street while we waited. 10/10 recommend!

Nice dive bar for the area! I stopped by here to get lunch around 11:30 am while visiting the area. I ordered the chicken nuggets which tasted great but was a smaller portion than I expected. I also ordered the potato skins with pork belly and quail egg- which tasted interested! It was filling but I feel it was missing something- maybe salt? It tasted a little bland I was recommended to get the burgers but I wanted something quick to eat so next visit when I have more free time I'll try it out! I am not a big drinker but I'm sure the drinks are good here
